St. John's Cathedral (Katedra św. Jana)

This is the oldest church in Warsaw. Built in the 14th century as a Mazovian Gothic church (coronation and burial site for Dukes of Masovia). Rebuilt several times, most notably in the 19th century. Preserved until World War II as an example of English Gothic Revival. Leveled by the Germans during the 1944 Warsaw Rising it was rebuilt after the war based on the 14th century presumed appearance.
